OPERATION
Water
Heaters
The DD1 relay contacts can be used to close an electric solenoid
when a water heater is dripping into an emergency drain pan. This
will prevent serious water damage to the building should the emergency
drain pan become clogged.
MOUNTING
The DD1 sensing-probe, clips to the drain pan using an adjustable
galvanized mounting bracket. The sensing probe is adjustable for
sensing any presence of water in the drain pan. The control module
can be mounted on any flat, smooth surface using the mounting holes
in the module feet. The shutoff valve is a brass body with 3/4"
MPT on each end.
